Conditional sentences are often divided into different types. Zero conditional. We use the zero conditional to talk about things that are generally true, especially for laws and rules. If I drink too much coffee, I can't sleep at night. Ice melts if you heat it. When the sun goes down, it gets dark. Conditional sentences type 1 is used to talk about things which are possible in the present or the future. It is generally used for things which may happen. Examples of conditional sentences type 1: If it rains, I will stay at home. If I wake up late, I will miss the bus. And, if it's sunny, we'll go to the park. If Juan leaves, Paula will Watch on. If we work hard, we will finish the project on time. This is an example of a first conditional sentence.
